HiFi Wasteland I: 100 Year Old Quicksilver Cloud
DEPENDANT PLACES – Not lonely islands, but dependent places – connected, coexisting, supporting each other. The upcoming exhibition in the frame of the 19th Media Art Biennale WRO 2021 REVERSO consists of 12 works located at WRO Art Center, IP Studio and Entropia Gallery. The exhibition is composed in the spirit of reverso, drawing attention to the existing landscape of the Biennale WRO, though leading along new paths.
Recognition of the importance of dependencies between phenomena, of connections, noticing values resulting from the recognition of these dependencies – Dependent Places are an invitation to jointly rebuild the sense of agency, to replace instant, automatic, and cognitively empty leaps between isolated environments, by an engaging journey.
