Platter Erosion is a sculptural series consisting of deteriorating platters from PE Rex Record players. This is a satellite project that grew out of artistic research carried out for High Fidelity Wasteland II: The Protoplastic Groove
Platter Erosion grew out of initial studio experiments carried out for High Fidelity Wasteland II during a residency at Global Forest e.V. in. St. Georgen in the Black Forest with close collaboration with the Deutsches Phonomuseum.
